Smart Yards is a landscaping company specializing in the installation of projects both commercial and residential. Emphasis is on the promotion and use of suitable indigenous material.
Hendrik Wentzel qualified as a plant ecologist (BSc Hons) UP with a particular interest in indigenous plants. He has experience in plant research, the nursery trade and in landscape construction in the commercial and private sector for a number of years.
The permanent labour force of the company consists of twenty and have experience in landscape development and management. An in-house plant nursery has also been set up on Lynnwood Road, Pretoria.
Smart Yards is a full professional member of SALI (South African Landscapers Institute).
